” You have provided one of the most beneficial presentations to my teachers I think they have attended since I began working with the school.”
Principal Christian Ahanger
Academy of Excellence South Campus, Milwaukee (Wisconsin)How successful we are at anything we want to achieve will be determined by how well we learn to do that thing
The missing link in developing student achievement, at any level in any subject, is teaching them how to learn. Our schools spend most of their time on content delivery, and leave figuring out how to learn up to the individual. How well students do this will determine how successful they are. The few that do figure out the weird, researched-based ways that learning really works we call talented/gifted. Anyone can be a successful, motivated – happy – student by using techniques that develop how the brain learns best.
” . . .optimizing instruction will require unintuitive innovations in how the conditions of instruction are structured. “

Evan Szu
PhD. Science Education, Stanford UniversityResearch in the fields of neuroscience and psychology show it is not only the amount of study/work, but also the type, and both can be taught to be enjoyable and engaging while improving intelligence. That is what I do.
These areas include Neuroplasticity and real answers from neuroscience. Motivation through real accomplishment. Deliberate practice (The underlying process of how to develop any level of skill in anything). Flow (facilitation of maintaining and growing a passion for learning) Mindset. Self-control. Habit pattern development. Research supported foundational learning techniques (Contextual interference/desirable difficulty, Retrieval, spacing, distributed practice, formative assessment, and more). Learning creativity at the atomic level
All students have some of this, but only a few can put it together as part of a larger whole.
And those people make it look easy. Anyone can learn to do
this if the areas are identified and taught in a level appropriate manner.
Learning does not have to be a chore.
Learn how to make learning interesting and engaging by becoming good at it. No need to cram for tests, as we will develop a rich mental model and the ability to internalize information for recall and critical thinking. There is a lot less anxiety for tests when the answers
start to pop into one’s head. Anyone can do this.
Let’s talk
Get in touch and we’ll talk about developing the foundation for solid and rewarding learning that one can take with them the rest of their life.
” It is not an exaggeration to say it is life changing. “
